HITS '24 brought together over 50 organizations across sectors to tackle one question: how can technology dramatically accelerate landmine clearance? Through a mix of keynotes, technical sessions, and collaborative working groups, participants focused on unlocking breakthroughs in detection, automation, and land-use adaptation—especially for high-impact areas like Ukrainian farmland.

More than just a summit, HITS is the nucleus of a growing global movement to overcome the operational, regulatory, and funding barriers that have slowed innovation in mine action for decades.
